This is my fourth post on mixed reality applications on HoloLens.... Do you want a thrilling experience in crime scenes?, then try FRAGMENTS (a HoloLens application)  In Fragments your room is not your room anymore!!! what? yes, because it turns your room in to a crime scene! Fragments is a game in which your room becomes a crime scene and you will be the detective to find out what had actually happened. You can see holographic characters interacting with you, and they give an experience as if they were really present in front of you! Firstly the HoloLens scans the entire room. As the story moves on, you will be surprised by detecting clues which may hide behind your furniture in the room.  This provides an entirely new possibilities in story telling. Are you a Gamer? Do you Really love Gaming? Then don't wait, give a try to RoboRaid. It is really awesome dude!!! RoboRaid is a game designed to HoloLens which provides the user with a very thrilling experience. In this game your room itself is a battle field. This is possible through the spatial mapping feature of the HoloLens. The enemies will actually break through the walls and cupboards of your room and, you as a shooter must just gaze at your enemy and air tap to kill it. The HoloLens pre-scans the room(spatial mapping) for providing the player with a very high interactive experience and the user can hear the sound from all around the room(spatial sound). We discussed about HoloStudio in my previous post, now let us discuss about another amazing application the 'HoloTour'. HoloTour provides the user with an immersive touring experience.It is nothing but a virtual travel. This app gives access to explore the beauty of Rome and Peru. Melissa is a tour guide who will guide us through the historical facts of the places we see so that we can understand what we are seeing. HoloTour makes the user feel as if he was really there. This is possible because of the panoramic videos, spatial sound system(we discussed earlier about this) and the holographic scenery view. The HoloTour is also designed to detect the interest of the user and if you look at something for a very long time then Melissa will offer new details about that thing. The additional advantage of HoloLens is that, it is untethered. This advantage  makes the user move around the room freely which indeed makes him feel as if he was moving in Rome or Peru🌝. As we got to know about Mixed Reality.Now,let us know about the applications based on Mixed Reality!!. The applications which give the user with a mixed reality experience are called Mixed Reality Applications. Some of those applications will be discussed in the series of posts on Mixed Reality Applications.
