As we got to know about Mixed Reality.Now,let us know about the applications based on Mixed Reality!!.
The applications which give the user with a mixed reality experience are called Mixed Reality Applications.

Some of those applications will be discussed in the series of posts on Mixed Reality Applications.

In this post let us discuss about an awesome Mixed Reality Application, "HOLOSTUDIO", which is designed to HoloLens.

In HoloStudio, the user can actually build his own Holograms, design to the real world scale and give his own creations - a life. HoloStudio can be described as a platform which allows the user to create amazing Holograms easily. The Holograms can be created in such a way that you can actually place them in your world, test them, zoom them in order to focus on the details. Finally you can give your Holograms a life by 3 D-print compatibility. 

The tools used in HoloStudio are :
Magnet,Resize,Rotate,Movement,Spatial Mapping,Take Picture,Nudge,Glue,Spray Paint,Erase.
HoloStudio takes an additional advantage of clicker.Clicker acts an external input to HoloLens. We can click to select,click,hold and drag to make adjustments.

In HoloStudio, creating Holograms is at fingertips.One can easily create Holograms by accessing toolbox in it. You can create Holograms to use in the real world for real purposes.It has an awesome usability feature.

Capturing your Holograms is also possible with HoloStudio. You can take a picture or shoot a video of any Hologram you access.

Mixed Reality Applications - HOLOTOUR

We discussed about HoloStudio in my previous post, now let us discuss about another amazing application the 'HoloTour'. HoloTour provides the user with an immersive touring experience.It is nothing but a virtual travel. This app gives access to explore the beauty of Rome and Peru. Melissa is a tour guide who will guide us through the historical facts of the places we see so that we can understand what we are seeing. HoloTour makes the user feel as if he was really there. This is possible because of the panoramic videos, spatial sound system(we discussed earlier about this) and the holographic scenery view. The HoloTour is also designed to detect the interest of the user and if you look at something for a very long time then Melissa will offer new details about that thing. RoboRaid is a game designed to HoloLens which provides the user with a very thrilling experience. In this game your room itself is a battle field. This is possible through the spatial mapping feature of the HoloLens. The enemies will actually break through the walls and cupboards of your room and, you as a shooter must just gaze at your enemy and air tap to kill it. CREATING A BASIC VIRTUAL REALITY APPLICATION IN UNITY

In this post we can create a Basic Virtual Reality A pplication in Unity... Let us get started.. 1.Open Unity and create a Project. 2.Create a Scene (Ex. simple cube) and save the scene(place the cube infront of camera) 3.In order to develop for Android, you need to download Android Studio SDK and Java JDK compatible to your Unity version. 4.Go to build settings,click on A dd open scenes 5.Now, Switch Platform to Android . 6.In the Player settings -> Identification -> Package name -> com.CompanyName.ProductName (change the package name into this format). 7.In other settings check the V irtual Reality Supported block and select the C ardboard SDK and set the minimum API Level to 19(since, cardboard requires a minimum API level of 19) 8.Finally click on Build and Run .    This is how your first VR Application looks like in your Android phone😃....
